Jason's New Office!

Jason has a new office! It is in our laundry room! He is so excited that he only has to walk a few steps to be in his office! I am excited too, and just a tad bit nervous because the laundry room is also the only way for the boys to get to the backyard and it is also the place where, well, it's the place where I do laundry! And we all know that is an everyday, ongoing task!

(Speaking of laundry, I still can't believe all of this pink! I love it!)

We are in the last phase of transitioning from FBC to The Crossing. I have experienced every emotion in this transition and currently am very excited! I am excited because The Crossing is coming alive and starting to be real in a very tangible way! God is doing some big things and it has been mind-blowing to see Him bring every detail together. From the beginning when we met Marty and Lori, to praying through decisions(ongoing), to raising support and putting together the launch team! There is a great team of wonderful people in the launch team that I am excited about getting to know better. We also are just days away from our Easter Egg Hunt and our first preview service, which will be on Easter! Man, lots of exclamation points in this post!! So much exciting stuff going on!

I am also reflecting on all the great memories we take with us from FBC. FBC has become a great big family to us. There are so many people that we LOVE,LOVE,LOVE dearly. I am thankful that we are just down the road and can stay connected with these people! Here are some of my favorite memories.

Hanging out in the Hub.

 And in Ms.Staci's office.

Going on trips to Colorado, Florida, Fredericksburg, and more. Connecting deeply with students and adults.

Studying books of the bible such as Galatians, Ephesians, Ecclesiastes, John, Philippians, and Hosea with amazing young ladies from the student ministry. This is one of the few things in life that will get me out of bed at 6:30!

Grilled Cheese Thursday's at our house.

College Bible Study at our house.
(Even though it involved Drew's head getting put into the fan!
And Dylan having nightmares.)
Thank you Pastor Mike and Pat for watching our kids.

Gaining wisdom and insight from SO MANY Godly women. Wow, it's is unbelievable how many amazing women I am privileged to know from my time at FBC.

Awana.

Sunday School.

Soccer Camp.

All the wonderful staff at FBC.

(Insert picture of everyone on staff, if I had one!)

And most recently, connecting with some amazing families that are in the same season of life that we are, which is raising small children!

I could go on and on if I listed every special memory and person that I love from FBC.             (Immediately, as I closed my computer, I was flooded in my head with things I could have mentioned.) I love the people of First Baptist Church. They will forever have a place in my heart and in my life. Thank you God for every single person and for the last 3 1/2 years at First Baptist Church in Boerne.

***On a completely separate note, I went to a medical massage therapist for my back. She was great. However, after two visits, she sent me on my way telling me that what I needed was something she could not do(no surprise). I will return to her in the future because she was amazing and I trust her. You should definitely consider her if you are looking for a good massage!
I have an appointment with a doctor who was highly recommended to me for SI Joint problems. My appt is April 7th at 1:40. Please pray that she can help me.
Thanks friends!

Oh, and here is a picture of Sarah just in case you are missing her!

  1. I have been sitting here for over an hour - I am very emotional. I love all of you so much - I went down memory lane with you. I am thankful for where we are now. I am thankful for the gift of each of you in my life. We are blessed. Yes, we are blessed.
