Holiday in the Hills

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  I don't know about y'all, but I am ready to march right into the Christmas season! I've got my Christmas music rocking and I'm dreaming of Christmas Eve!

If you're from Boerne, you're familiar with Dickens on Main.  Well, Bulverde does something similar, it's called Holiday in the Hills. They shut down Bulverde Road, have a parade, lighting of the Christmas Tree, Santa, and the list goes on. I'm so excited about checking it out tonight. The Crossing will have a booth set up where we will be passing out hot chocolate, apple cider, coffee, and COOKIES GALORE!!  If you're free tonight, come look for us there. We would love to see you guys and we could always use friendly faces at our booth. I'm really falling in love with this community and the people here. I think you would have a good time.

The weather is going to be soooo cold, so I'm really hoping I can keep baby Sarah happy and content. I know the boys will be fine, they were outside this morning searching for their Christmas presents. We told them that their presents were hidden on this property, but outside of our house. So they are searching the woods, we left out the part about how their presents are locked up inside of the house next door to us.  Ha! Hey, we figure if the boys are going on adventures outside looking for presents, it's a win for everybody!!

Jason had his first Black Friday experience last night and now we know how they hook you and get more money out of you than you planned on spending! Well, that's what happened to us. Props to those of you who can stick to your dollar amount!! Shhh...don't tell them, but we got them a basketball goal! And Jason got me some towels for our new bathrooms.

Bring on the Christmas season. Bring on all the festivities and celebrations leading up to the day we celebrate the birth of our precious LORD and SAVIOUR! I would be a mess of a person with out HIM.

One more thing, my favorite Christmas albums are Third Day Christmas Offerings and Faith Hill's Joy to the World.  I also love Aaron Patterson's Christmas album.  What are your's??
