I am pretty sure it would have been impossible for the weather to be any prettier than it was today! It was fabulous. Sarah and I sat on the lawn and watched the boys play Star Wars.
She was loving this yummy biscuit!! So it has been said by a couple of people, ahem, (you know who you are!!), that Sarah is my favorite:). Now you mommy friends know that that is just not possible. I love all my kids so much. I love them all wholeheartedely and it's the weirrdest, coolest thing that that is even possible. But it is. They each are so unique and so special. They each have so many wonderful things about themselves. I could write a book about all the things I love about each of them. In fact, I just started to list some things but then erased because I am too tired!
For me, the difference between having a boy and a girl is something like this...When I look at my boys, I think of strong warriors. I want them to be strong, brave, and courageous. I want to raise them and teach them how to be men,
with lots of help from Jason obviously. I don't want to baby them and make them wimpy,( although cuddle time, hugs and kisses are a daily must.) It's a balance. I want them to be respectable. I think of them as little men. I know their hearts are so young, fragile and tender right now, but it's my goal to teach them to fight for good things and to stand up for the women in their lives. I pray that they will love the Lord and that they will fight, love, and suffer passionately for Jesus.
With Sarah, of course I want good things for her too, all for God's glory. It's just different
"roles" in this life that we are preparing them for, and it's amazing how intuitively it comes! Sarah is so....so....so GIRL! She brings out this inner girl in me that I never knew existed! I want to do all these fun, girly things with her, and I want her to know that she is beautiful and deeply loved. I want to smother her with kisses!! I want to dote on her and love on her!! It probably doesn't hurt that she IS still a
baby!! I mean come on, how cute is this???

Thank you God for a beautiful, fun day! I love you. And thank you for each of my kiddo's. I am so thankful for every second with them and I love them so, so much!!!
